WST Sends Beacon Testing Equipment to Ukraine
While different nations have stepped up to help, small businesses are also lending a hand and joining forces to help Ukraine. Many Canadians are expressing solidarity with the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian business community during these tragic times. Some companies are offering donations, a place to sleep, or other acts of charity to help Ukrainians in need.
WS Technologies Inc., located in Kelowna, BC, which specializes in emergency locator beacon testing technology, was contacted by the Aviation State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in need of help. They were in need of replacement test equipment, they were forced out of their own facility due to Russian occupation.
WST was quick to help, donating a new BT200 series Beacon Tester to Ukraine. There were a few hurdles getting the shipment into Ukraine, but it was successfully delivered to the Aviation Border Guard Service.
WST’s BT200 Beacon Tester will be used to verify the proper operation of the emergency locator transmitters on board the aircraft used by the Aviation State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
